Baptism is the outward act that symbolizes the inward phenomenon of coming to and accepting Jesus Christ as real, as God in human form, and as the sacrificial means by which those who believe in Him can be forever reconciled to God. The purpose of baptism is to give visual testimony of our commitment to Christ. It is the first step of discipleship (Acts 8:26-39).
Bible Study, in 2 Timothy 3:16-17 tell us that “All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful for teaching the truth, rebuking error, correcting faults, and giving instruction for a right living so that the person who serves God may be fully qualified and equipped to do every kind of good deed.”
